The railway bridges in the city

The terrain and the many major radial roads make the ,,Gürtellinie“ to a system with many bridges. They were formerly made of stone or wood. The iron bridges, which were used since the industrial revolution, made straight construction lines possible.  Wagner had the idea to design the bridges in a useful way and to use decorations to make the city more beautiful. The bridges have been built with railings and trim bezels. In the panel bezels Wagner combined beauty with usefulness. Concerning the bridges you also can see the strict horizontal line.
